Mattie Belle Weatherford
Services for Mattie Belle Weatherford will be at 2 p.m. Monday, August 18, 2003, in the chapel of John Kramer and Son with the Rev. Wade Cummings officiating. Interment will be Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Pineville under the direction of John Kramer and Son.
Mattie Belle Weatherford, 80, of Tomball, died Thursday, August 14, 2003, in Lawrence St. Health Care, Tomball, Texas.
Mrs. Weatherford was a U. S. Naval Veteran of World War II and worked in the Intelligence Division at the Pentagon. She was an LPN for a number of years at the Baptist Hospital (now Rapides Regional Medical Center). She was a charter member of Paradise Baptist Church.
Mattie Weatherford is survived by, two sons, Michael A. Weatherford and wife Jean of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Robert E. Weatherford and wife Joyce of Spring, Texas four sisters, Marie Cheek of West Monroe, Alice Aswell of Bastrop, Ruby Jean Scarborough of Columbia and Stella Thompson of Pueblo, Colorado 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Friends are asked to call from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and from 8:30 a.m. until time of service Monday at John Kramer and Son.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Weatherford, John Weatherford, Jimmy Weatherford, Gene Thornhill, Bill Thornhill, and Charlie Weatherford.
