McDaniels Rites Held

Services for Mrs. Mattie Twomey McDaniels, 78, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Antioch Church.

Rev. C. T. Wallace and Rev. Ray Thompson officiated. Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Hawthorn Funeral Home.

Mrs. McDaniels, a native of Panola County, died Sunday in Panola General Hospital.

Survivors include four sons, Herman, Robert, and Theodore, all of Carthage, and J. W. of Bowling Green, Ky.; four daughters, Mrs. Sid Garland, Mrs. Lin Garland, and Mrs. Joe Jones, all of Carthage, and Mrs. Coy Anderson of Trinidad; 21 grandchildren, and 33 great-grandchildren.
