Mrs. Beaird's Rites Friday

Mrs. Maude Beaird, 73, 528 Kirby, died in Doctor's Hospital at 2:40 a.m. Wednesday after a long illness.

Born in Dodson, Mrs. Beaird had lived in Shreveport 50 years and was the widow of the late James Benjamin Beaird.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Orlando Smith, Shreveport, and Mrs. Maude Elizabeth Miervwak, North Palm Beach, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Randolph Broussard, Alexandria; eight grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Osborn Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Milton Giles Fort. Southern Baptist Foreign Mission Board, officiating.

Burial will be in Dallas, Tex.
