Mrs. Maude Culpepper

Mrs. Maude Mecom Culpepper, 81, of 112 Texas Ave., dided [sic died] early this morning in a local hospital.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete, but will be under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe. Burial will take place in Riverview Cemetery.

Mrs. Culpepper was a native of Columbia and had resided in Monroe for 60 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Dr. Walter S. Culpepper of Ochner's Foundation Hospital in New Orleans; one daughter, Mrs. Morton Braswell of Shreveport; one brother, Phillip Mecom of Shreveport, and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday with Rev. Walter Mangham, associate pastor of The First Baptist Church, officiating.
