Maudine Bolton Walden
(December 3, 1923 - December 22, 2004)

Mrs. Maudine (Machen) Bolton Walden, age 81, of Monroe, La., passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2004, at her residence in Monroe, La. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Monroe. Mrs. Walden was a retired Dental Hygienist . She loved to fish and will be remembered for her quick wit and cheerful good nature.

She was the daughter of the late Hershel Machen, Sr. and the late Mildred (Caskey) Machen.

She is survived by her

Two Daughters, Jackie (Bolton) Collins and her husband Shelton of Monroe, La. Ann (Bolton) Mooney of Salt Lake City, Utah;

One Son, Jimmy Bolton and his wife Sheila of Heavner, Okla.;

Two Sisters, Bobbie Machen of Shreveport, La. Mable Ellis of Shreveport, La.;

One Brother, Hershel Machen, Jr. of Winnfield, La.;

Six grandchildren Several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Walden was preceeded in death by her husbands, Jack Bolton and Cody Walden; and two grandsons, Stanley Collins and Scott Bolton.

Services are under the direction of Southern Funeral Homes, Inc., 202 E. Lafayette St., Winnfield, La., where the family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Friday, December 24, 2004. Funeral services will be at Southern Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 AM Friday, December 24, 2004 , with Rev. Dick DeBusk officiating. Interment will be at Garden Of Memories Cemetery in Winnfield, La.
