Mavis A. Dean
Mrs. Mavis A. (Parker) Dean, age 90, of Green Valley, Ariz., formerly of Sikes, La., passed away Thursday, September 4, 2008, in Green Valley, Ariz.
She was the daughter of the late Jesse Parker and the late Elva (Crain) Parker. Mrs. Dean was also preceded in death by her husband, Wert K. Dean; and three brothers, Sharon B., Travis, and Thomas ``Bud'' Parker.
She is survived by her
Two Sons, Bill K. Dean and James Ronald Dean;
One Sister, Maureen Poole
Three Brothers, Marshall Parker, Darrow Parker, and James R. Parker;
Four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren,
A host of nieces and nephews.
Services are under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield, La., where the family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM Wednesday, September 10, 2008. Graveside services will be held at the Garden Of Memories Cemetery in Winnfield, La. at 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 10, 2008 , with Rev. John Holland officiating.
