Gaars Mill Native Dies In Arkansas

Mrs. Maxine Adams Burnette, age 42 years, died Thursday, June 1, 1972 in Camden, Ark.

Mrs. Burnette became suddenly ill at her home Thursday afternoon. Her husband, J. I. Burnette, rushed her to the hospital where she died shortly thereafter. Cause of death was brain hemorrhage.

Funeral services and burial were Saturday in Camden.

Survivors include her husband, J. I. Burnette, and a 12 year old son, James Steven Burnette of Camden, Ark.; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Troy Adams of Rt. 1, Dodson; four sisters, Mrs. Dale Culpepper of Pasadena, Texas, Mrs. Viaud Walker of Atlanta, Texas, Mrs. Jimmie Tarver of Winnfield, Mrs. LaFaye Horn of Atlanta, La.; and three brothers, Glen Adams of Baton Rouge, Nelton Adams of Camden, Ark., and Duane Adams of Monroe.
