MAXINE BRADY GEX, age 76, of Spring, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2010.
She was born on November 12, 1932 in Ellisville, MS. She has been a resident of the Houston Area for 44 years. She retired from USPS after 32 years of service.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, Ezra Melton Brady and Nellie Rebecca Simmons; her brothers, Ezra Brady and Olin Brady; her sisters, Elva Coats, Jewel Graves, Onnie Ross, Dovie Hamilton, Rachel Cravens and Edwina Stassi.
She is survived by: her brothers, Clinton Lamar Brady of Columbia, MS and Joseph Allen Brady of Alabastar, AL; her children, Clayton Gex of Corpus Christi, Debra Gex of Spring, Steven Gex and wife Christine of Strafford, VT, Margaret Mims and husband Frank of Spring, Kathryn Hale and husband Steve of San Angelo; her grand children, Archelle, Nathan, Rachel and Jared Gex, Scarlet and Lacey Morlier, Ryan Heath, Cory Jackson and Thomas Gex, Steven Mims Sr and Matthew Mims, and Rachel Portalatin, Cody Hale and Zachary Hale; and 14 great grand children as well as many other family and friends.
The family would like to express their deep appreciation to Precious Moment Personal Care Home, in Spring, for their devoted care and support.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 13, 2010 at 1pm at Addison Funeral Home in Spring, with a Memorial Service to follow at 2pm.
