Mrs. Mabelle Hales

Funeral services for Mrs. Mabelle Hales, 83, who died Wednesday, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Monroe. The Rev. I. A. Patton, pastor of the Stone Avenue Methodist Church, will officiate.

Interment, under the direction of Hixson's, will be in the Hasley cemetery in West Monroe.

Mrs. Hales died at her grandson's residence, 1615 South Fourth, Monroe, following a long illness.

She is survived by one grandson, E. B. Hales, Jr., two great granddaughters, and several nieces and nephews.
