McArtis Price

Funeral services for McArtis Price, 76 were held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, August 13, 1999 at Roseneath's Southside Chapel. Officiating was Rev. Mark Sutton, pastor of Brookwood Baptist Church. Burial followed in Centuries Memorial Park.

Mr. Price passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 1999. He was a native of Dodson and had resided in Shreveport for 42 years. He was a member of Brookwood Baptist Church and served two enlistments with the U.S. Army. He retired as an electronics technician for Sears after 25 years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Cassyle Crain Price of Shreveport; two sons, Charles Price and wife Kay of Shreveport and Artie Price and wife Leigh Anne of Marshall, TX; two nephews, Larry and Jerry Price, both of Winnfield.

Pallbearers were: Daryl Eason, Martin Crain, Jerry Price, Marc Greene, Chuck Oliver and Kevin Moss.

Honorary Pallbearers were: Larry Price, Jack Gaar and Billy Kidd.
