Melissa Dian Finuf Drewry

SAGINAW, TX - Services for Melissa Dian Finuf Drewry will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 7, at Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Ken Irby of Broadmoor United Methodist Church.

Melissa passed away suddenly on July 3 in Richmond, Virginia. She was born in Shreveport on January 23, 1976 to Carla McKeever and Charles Michael Finuf, Sr. Melissa graduated from C.E. Byrd High School in 1993 and Virginia Commonwealth University in 1998. She married Donald Clay Drewry in August 2005. The light of her life, their son Ethan, was born on November 28, 2006. Melissa lived with her family in Saginaw, Texas, and worked for Bass Enterprises in Fort Worth.

Melissa is survived by her husband, Donald Clay Drewry, son Ethan Mackey Drewry, step-sons Fisher Wayne, 9, and Sawyer Cole, 6, all of Saginaw, TX, mother Carla McKeever of Mineola, TX, father Charles Michael Finuf, Sr. and wife Susan of Sugar Land, TX, grandmothers Evelyn Stovall Finuf of Shreveport and Peggy ``Muddy'' Bryant of Mineola TX, several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and loved ones.

Melissa was preceded in death by her brother, Michael, aunt Anne Finuf Stephens, and grandfathers, Melvin A. Finuf, Sr. and William McKeever.

Visitation will be tonight, Friday, July 6, at Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
