Mellie Angeline Martin

Funeral services for Mellie Angeline Martin, 78, of Winnsboro were held Wednesday at Riser First National Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Marion Collier and the Rev. David Herrington officiating.

Interment followed in Crowville Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Riser First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro.

Mrs. Martin died Monday, April 25, 1994 at St. Francis Medical Center.

Survivors include one daughter, Joanne Busby, Crowville: one sister, Ruth Wimberly, Winnsboro; one brother, Marshall Parker, Start; grandson Gary Joe Busby, Crowville; and Richard O. Busby, Tallulah; five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Bud Flowers, Kenny Martin, Steve Pylant, Floyd Lee Arceneaux, Harold Comeaux and Wimp Welch.
