Mrs. Melma Godfrey

Funeral services for Mrs. Melma Godfrey, 70, who died at North Caddo Medical Memorial Hospital, were held Sunday, at 2 p.m. in McGuire Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Tom Moore officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Gilead Cemetery.*

Mrs. Godfrey was born in Vivian and had lived in Oil City forty-two years. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Oil City, and the Soceity of the Rebeccas Odd Fellows.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Rexine Pine; two grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Dan Walling, Jr., Larry Schmitt, Benny Kennedy, J. C. Wells, T. Allen, III and Larry Pierce.
