Funeral services for Melodie Bass Meyers, 54 of Jonesville, LA will be held at Lake Lilly Baptist Church on Sunday, January 9, 2011 at 10:00 am with Rev. Lloyd Trisler, Bro. Frank Bass and Rev. Whit Bass officiating. Interment will follow at Heard Cemetery in Manifest, LA under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Jonesville.
Melodie Meyers was born on September 30, 1956 in Jonesville, LA and passed away Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria. She was a resident of Jonesville, loved painting and drawing; she was a retired nurse in the ICU Department at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe and an active member of Lake Lilly Baptist Church.

The Pallbearers will be Caleb Bass, Darren Cooper, Elijah Boothe, Eric Cooper, Jason Meyers, Wes Bass and Will Bass.
The Honorary Pallbearers will be Cari Scroggs, Janet Payne, Marsha Baker, Pam Evans and Terri McElhine.
The family will receive friends at Lake Lilly Baptist Church from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Saturday, January 8, 2011.
