Melody (Dark) Foshee

A service to celebrate the life of Melody Foshee will be 6:00 pm Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until service time and until 7:30 pm after the conclusion of the service on Thursday in the funeral home chapel.
Melody, 57 years of age and a resident of Natchitoches, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2014 in Natchitoches. She was born July 15, 1956 to Billy Ray and Ethel Ann Dark. Melody graduated from St. Mary's and attended Louisiana Tech University. She was an animal lover, never met a stranger, loved having conversation with anyone and was willing to help others even if it meant she had to go without. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Melody was preceded in death by her father, Billy Ray Dark; a brother, Billy Ross Dark and her husband, George Barney Foshee.
She is survived by her mother, Ethel Ann Dark; sons, Brian Bailes and wife Kim of Pittsburg, Texas, and Daniel Bailes and partner Aaron of Naples, Italy; her best friend, Susan Grayson; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
