Rites held for Mrs. Arinder

COLUMBIA -- Services were held at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Hickory Grove Methodist Church for Mrs. Melvana [sic Melvina] Graves Arinder, 75, who died Thursday at Marion County General Hospital. Burial was in Advance Cemetery.

Survivors are five sons, William Elzey Arinder of Mobile, Estus Warren Arinder of Improve, Chester Jack Arinder of Grosse Tete, La., Henry Calvin Arinder of Enon and Erskin Arinder of Improve; two daughters, Mrs. Cassie [sic Carsie] Williams of Improve and Mrs. Austin Pugh of Mobile; four brothers, Stanley, Pat and Thad Graves of Collins and Reese Graves of Bassfield; three sisters, Mrs. Monette Broome of Bassfield, Miss Ina Graves of Collins and Mrs. Ernest Broome of New Mexico; 23 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
