Memory H. “Jack” French
Memory H. “Jack” French Sr, age 83, of Winnfield, La., passed away Thursday, June 22, 2006, at his Residence.
Mr. French was a 32nd degree mason and a member of Eastern Star Lodge No. 151 F&AM. He was also a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Mr. French was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II.
He was the son of the late Dewey French and the late Ethel (Grice) French. Mr. French was also preceded in death by his wife: Hazel Maloy French and a son: Hubert Lynn Maloy.
He is survived by his Two Sons, Memory H. French, Jr. and his wife Debbie of Winnfield, La. and Kenneth Malloy and his wife Martha of Ball, La.; Daughter-in-law-Margaret Maloy of Winnfield, La.; Two Brothers, Don Ingles and Johnny Ingles both of Texas City, Texas; ten grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
Funeral services for Mr. French, will be held 10:00 AM Monday in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Reverends James Simons and James Prince officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. Friends may visit with the family in the funeral home on Sunday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Monday at the church from 9:00 AM until time of servicies.
Pallbearers will be: Ken Maloy, John Maloy, Mike Maloy, Tim Maloy, Clifton French, and Kevin Howell. Honorary Pallbearers will be: J. B. Grace, Kenneth Peavy, Jay Lynn Atkins, Monty Wayne Atkins, Mike Atkins and Dub Conn.
