She lived in Florida for many years, retiring from Orange County. She relocated to Baton Rouge in 1994.
Survivors include a son, William Bradford of Williston, Fla.; nephew, Norman Childers of Tampa, Fla.; Jimmy Childers of Tallahassee, Fla.; Bruce Childers of Baton Rouge; and M.A. ``Sonny'' Childers of Healdsburg, Calif.
She was prceded in death by parents, Fred C. and Nannie Manley Childers; and three brothers, Fred, Milton and Courtney Childers.
