MERVIN L. ANDERSON

Mervin Lorett Anderson, 85, of Smackover, died Thursday, Sept. 28, 2000, at Medical Center of South Arkansas.

She was a member of Smackover First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam B. Anderson; her parents Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Stough; four brothers, six sisters and two grandsons.

Survivors include two sons, Sam Anderson of Smackover and Martin Anderson of Crossett; two daughters, Nancie Ormond of Sterlington, La., and Windie Joiner of Baton Rouge, La.; a sister, Molly Owens of Prescott; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at Proctor Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Proctor Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Smackover First Baptist Church, 201 West 7th, Smackover, AR, 71762.
