MIKE BROGAN

A retired employee of the Laurel Waterworks, Mike Brogan, 89, of 1324 First Ave., died in a local clinic Tuesday. He had lived in Laurel 65 years, and was a member of the Myrick Masonic Lodge No. 525 and the Second Avenue Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, 3 p.m., from Memory Chapel. The Rev. Tom Rayburn will officiate, with burial in Hickory Grove Cemetery.

Brogan is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mae Griffin, Laurel, and Mrs. O. A. (Vera) Sinquefield, Pascagoula; two sons, Tedford Brogan, Laurel, and N. B. Brogan, McComb; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and one brother, Russell Brogan, Denver, Colo.

Masonic services will be held at graveside. Masons to serve as pallbearers are Walter Williams, Jack Beard, D. R. Sanderson, Eddie Bell, Leonard Melvin Jr. and Jimmie Pickering. Deacons of the Second Avenue Baptist Church will be honorary pallbearers.
