Mike Hatten, Hebron Native, Succumbs At 56

Mike Hatten, 56, died at his residence near Sikes Friday, January 5, 1968 at 10 a.m., after a long illness.

Mr. Hatten was a lifelong resident of the Hebron Community, a member of White Lily Chapter O. E. S., at Clarks, and a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mike Hatten of Sikes; one son, James Hatten of Sikes; two daughters, Mrs. Margie Parker of Alexandria and Mrs. Dorothy Parker of Ruston; two brothers, J. W. Hatten of Grayson and Monroe Hatten of Columbia; three sisters, Mrs. Johnnie Huitt of Monroe, Mrs. Ola Simmons of Swamper, and Mrs. Vera Martin of Sikes; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Hebron Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Sunday with Rev. J. C. Eubanks officiating and Rev. Edward Smith assisting. Masonic graveside rites were conducted. Burial was in _____________ Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Nephews of the __________ were pallbearers.
