Mildred Ann Crum

DUNBARTON, La. -- Services for Mildred Ann Crum, 81, of Ferriday, who died Tuesday, April 17, 2001, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be at 2 p.m. today at Dunbarton Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Waggoner officiating. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Comer Funeral Home.

Mrs. Crum was born Dec. 27, 1919, in Harrisonburg, the daughter of Sidney and Ellen D. Jones. She was a resident of Ferriday for 50 years, a member of the Dunbarton Baptist Church and a retired LPN.

Mrs. Crum was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry Crum; a son, Daniel Glenn Crum; and a step-daughter, Ruby Crum Dean.

Survivors include 10 children, Ann Fair of Monterey, Betty Fletcher of Show Low, Ariz., Jean Moffett of Natchez, Barbara Gayle of Jonesboro, Ga., Jimmy Crum and Vernon Crum, both of Ferriday, Kenny Crum of McComb, Tommy Crum of Pineville, Ruthi Olds of Morristown, Tenn. and Jerry Crum of Smyrna, Tenn.; two step-children, H.L. Crum Jr. of Natchez and Charles Crum of Vardomin; 40 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Buzz Fletcher, Buddy Fletcher, Danny Crum, Jason Crum, Cody Crum, Dusty Crum, John Olds and Trey Olds. Honorary pallbearers will be Ben Fair, Mark Moffett, Mike Moffett and Shannon Crum.
