Mildred E. Jackson
(August 7, 1922 - May 2, 2015)

Mildred E. Jackson, 92, was called home from this life on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Franklin County Memorial Hospital in Meadville, MS. Mrs. Jackson was born August 7, 1922 to Johnny Wesley and Meda Rushing Bass.

Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS on Monday, May 4, 2015 from 5:00 PM till 9:00 PM and will continue at Middleton Creek Primitive Baptist Church on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 from 10:00 AM until the time of services at 11:00 AM. The graveside service will follow in Middleton Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Meadville, MS. Rev. Marvin Howard and Rev. Leon Wallace will officiate the services. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Jackson was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking for her family, quilting and raising a garden. She was a member of Middleton Creek Primitive Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great, great grandmother.

She is preceded in death by parents, Johnny Wesley and Meda Rushing Bass; husband, H. B. Jackson; son, Bobby Jackson; daughter-in-law, Peggy Bailey Jackson; brothers, Hollis, Hoytt, Garland, and H. Rey Bass; grandsons, Michael Jackson and Keith Jackson.

Survivors are her son, Garnell Jackson and wife Dianne of Meadville, MS; daughter, Linda Jackson Bailey and husband Jerry of Meadville, MS; grandchildren, Sheila Jackson Clinkscales and husband William, Robert Jackson and wife Dana, Jamie Jackson and wife Winnie, Melissa Jackson Wilkinson and husband Jamie, Tracy Bailey Wilkinson and husband Dale, Michelle Bailey Causey, and Babara Bailey Holmes and husband Chris; great grandchildren, Will Clinkscales, Brittany Clinkscales, Olivia Jackson, Sara Beth Jackson, Grant Wilkinson, Josh Jackson, Kelsey Jackson, Jessica Jarrell, Cody Wilkinson, Nathan Stout, Kayla Dickerson, Skyler Michiels, and Devin Jordan; great, great grandchildren, Jordan Clinkscales, Jasper Clinkscales, Sophia Dickerson, and Hunter Jarrell; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers are Robert Jackson, Jamie Jackson, Josh Jackson, Nathan Stout, Cody Wilkinson, and Jerry Bailey.

Honorary Pallbearers William Clinkscales, Chris Holmes, Dale Wilkinson, and Jamie Wilkinson.
