Mildred Frances Nunn
Mildred Frances Nunn died Friday in her Sherwood home, one day after her 89th birthday. She had lived in Sherwood since 2002.
Mrs. Nunn, whose maiden name was House, was born on April 23, 1920, in Holly Springs, Ark. She was reared in Sparkman, Ark., where she graduated from high school in 1938.
She had been a grocery retail clerk.
In April 1965 she married Roy Nunn Jr. in Las Vegas, Nev. He died in 1992.
Mrs. Nunn played bridge, bowled and made ceramics. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.
Surviving are sons Philip Higgason of Yuba City, Calif., and Ken Higgason of Sherwood, 13 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
