Mildred Katherine Gaar
WILLIAMSBURG -- Mildred Katherine Gaar, 77, went to be with the Lord, Friday, March 15, 2002. She was a Williamsburg hairdresser for 50 years. Mildred was a longtime member of Grace Baptist Church in Williamsburg.
She was preceded in death by her brother, W.D. Sawyer of Glendale, Ariz.
She is survived by her former husband and special friend, William Gaar of Williamsburg; two daughters, Sandra Landon of Williamsburg and Brenda Huggett of Hampton; a sister, Doris Shelton of Vienna, Va.; a brother, Kenneth Sawyer of Lebanon, Va.; four grandchildren, David West, William West, Michael Cross and Joshua Landon; and four great- grandchildren, Chaz, Amber, Shannon and Michael Jr.
