Mildred LaPorte Clegg Taylor
December 13, 1930 - October 31, 2014

Mildred LaPorte Clegg Taylor native of Breaux Bridge, LA and resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on Friday, October 31, 2014. She was a loving and kind mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother, and sister.

Mildred is survived by her daughter, Connie Clegg Perkins and husband Luther of Pride, LA sons, Darwin Earl Clegg and wife Bonnie of Prairieville, LA, and Robert W. Taylor, Jr. and wife Kimberly of Denham Springs, LA grandchildren, Brandi Clegg Babin, Lydia Perkins Ratliff, Lisa Perkins, and Lance Perkins ten greatgrandchildren sisters, Melba Hebert and husband Don of Breaux Bridge, LA, and Shirley Michel of Cecila, LA sisterinlaw, Dorothy Taylor of Baton Rouge, LA and brother, Abel LaPorte of Cecila, LA.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Cecil Earl Clegg and Robert W. Taylor, Sr. son, Russell W. Taylor parents, Joseph C. and Lydia Roy LaPorte brothers, Frank LaPorte and Cyprian LaPorte and sister, Lita Haggard.

Visiting hours will be observed at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy. Baton Rouge, LA 70816, on Sunday, November 2, 2014 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Visiting will resume at Resthaven Funeral Home on Monday, November 3, 2014 from 10:00 am until service time.

Funeral service will be held at 12 noon, officiated by Dr. Mark Crosby. Interment to follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
