JOHNSON

MILDRED MAE JOHNSON, 84, of Houston, passed away March 17, 2006 in Baytown, Tx.

She was born December 8, 1921 in Laurel, Mississippi, a daughter of George & Emma Phillips Rayner. She was a member of Greens Bayou Assembly of God in Houston. She was retired after 33 years with Aladin Cleaners.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Doss; brothers, Walter and Willie Rayner; sisters, Mattie Parker, Beatrice Lovett, Macie Flynt, and Mary Lois Rayner.

Survivors include her children and their spouses, Doyle & Sharon Ann Johnson, Elsie & Don Barker, Mary & Allen Holland, Martha & Ronnie Zumwalt; brother, George Rayner; sister, Mary Katherine Bosworth; seven grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; a special friend whom she considered an adopted son, Howard Crenshaw; numerous nieces, nephews, and a loving church family.

Visitation is 5PM-8PM, Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at Woodforest Funeral Home. A Life Celebration will be held at 10 AM, Wednesday, at Woodforest Funeral Home with Rev. J. P. Granberry officiating. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park, Pasadena, Tx.
