Mildred Shaw Daughtry, a resident of Dothan died Sunday, February 6, 2011. She was 68.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday, February 8, 2011, at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Sam White officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 P.M. Monday, February 7, 2011. Flowers will be accepted.

Ms. Daughtry co-owned and operated Waterbed Creataions, with close friends, Jimmy and Jan Greer for 26 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M.M. Shaw, and a sister, Marion Deason.

Survivors include three sons, Mike and Dana Daughtry, Scott Daughtry, Dale Daughtry, all of Midland City; three grandchildren, Cody Daughtry, Abby Daughtry, Casey Daughtry, one brother, Ronald Wayne Shaw of Gainesville, FL; one brother-in-law, Dewey Deason of Sommerville, AL; several nieces and nephews, a special friend, Rhonda Conrad, and companions, Cosmo and Patches.

Active pallbearers will be Cody Daughtry, Bradley Shaw, Sam Frank White, Jr., Danny Metcalf, Brent Marshall, and Rodney Knight.
