Mildred Waller Cooper

Mrs. Mildred Waller Cooper was born May 1, 1925 in Emerson, Arkansas. Her parents were Levye and Gilmer Waller. She left working in cotton fields and went to work at the ammunition plant in Minden during WWII. She married her husband of 67 years Dewitt Clinton Cooper, Sr. She later went to work at McMann Typewriter as a secretary where she worked for many years. Mrs. Cooper passed away Monday, June 30, 2014 in Shreveport, LA.
Survivors are her is her husband, Dewitt Cooper; daughter, Diane Cooper Sharp; son, Dee Cooper; granddaughter, Briana Diane Sharp; great-grandson Dayden Cade Franco; sisters, Carolyn Dodson and Francille Bridwell; other relatives and a host of friends.
