SHREVEPORT, LA -- Graveside services for Milton Edward Ellison, 72, of Shreveport are scheduled for 3:00 P.M., Sunday, December 7, 2008 at Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery in Tyler, Texas with Rev. Sam Fisher officiating under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home, Tyler.
Mr. Ellison passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2008 at a Tyler hospice facility.
He was born on May 27, 1936 in Calvin, Louisiana to Emma Burnum Ellison Waller. He was a self employed freight agent and a Baptist. He has lived in Shreveport for the past 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Emma Burnum Ellison Waller and a granddaughter.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Ellison of Shreveport; son, Shad Ellison of Tyler; daughters, Shannon Dzenowski of Shreveport, Debbie Allen of Victorville, CA and Toni Allen of Victorville, CA; step-father, John Waller of Arlington and 8 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 P.M., Saturday at the funeral home.
