Died at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21 at Lane Memorial Hospital, Baker. He was 58, a resident of 3344 Haire St., Baker, and a native of Pleasant Hill. Body at Rabenhorst Funeral Home after 8 a.m. Saturday. Religious services from the funeral home at 2 p.m. Saturday conducted by Revs. Allen C. Johnson and Don Thomas. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
Survived by his wife, the former Opal King; a son, Reginald Haire; four daughters, Mrs. Jean Mahan, Florandie, Fla., Mrs. D. W. Bass, Sibley, Mrs. Sylvester Fairchild and Mrs. Shirley Rainwater, both of Baker; three sisters, Mrs. Edna Haire, Bossier City, Mrs. Elvea Wilson, Hermon, and Mrs. Beulah Butler, Baton Rouge; three brothers, Everett Haire, Marksville; Roosevelt Haire, Pleasant Hill, and Coleman Haire, Shreveport, and 18 grandchildren.
