PINKSTON -- Friday evening, April 19, 1940, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R. A. Sloan, 1005 Montrose Avenue, Mrs. Minerva Jane Pinkston, aged 84 years. Remains were conveyed to Lewisburg where funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the Bryant Station Methodist Church by Rev. M. K. Harwell.

Survived by one sister, Mrs. R. Y. Batey of Lewisburg; five daughters, Mrs. R. A. Sloan and Mrs. William Jordan of Nashville, Miss Virgie Pinkston of Lewisburg, Misses Margaret and Edith Pinkston of Atlanta; one son, O. L. Pinkston of Birmingham.

The following will serve as pallbearers: Rush Pinkston, Elvin Pinkston, Granville Pinkston, Anderson Pinkston, Irvine Pinkston, Jack Graves.

Interment at Haynes Cemetery. Bills & McGaugh Funeral Home of Lewisburg in charge.
