Mrs. Minnie Machen

TALLULAH -- Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Machen, 88, of Tallulah were held at 10 a.m. today in the chapel of Crothers Funeral Home here with the Rev. Crawford Williams officiating.

Burial followed in Silver Cross Cemetery here.

Mrs. Machen died Wednesday in Delta Haven Nursing Home here after a long illness.

She was a native of Jackson Parish and had lived in Madison Parish for 43 years. She was a member of the New Home Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Woodrow W. Graham of Tallulah; one step-son, James Machen of Sondheimer; two step-daughters, Mrs. Joe Thornton of Tallulah and Mrs. Van T. Flurry of Sondheimer; one sister, Mrs. Ida Kennedy of Delhi; 18 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Grandsons will act as pallbearers.
