MRS. MINNIE D. WARD

Mrs. Minnie D. Ward, 92, 610 Beacon St., died Wednesday in a Laurel hospital. She was born in Wayne County, Nov 18, 1878 and was a former resident of Sandersville. She was the oldest member of the Sandersville Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Sandersville Baptist Church with the Rev. Horace Carpenter officiating. Burial will be in the Sandersville Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church Friday at 1:30 p.m. Memory Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors are three daughters: Mrs. L. L. Lamb, North Hollywood, Calif.; Mrs. Bebe Williams, Burbank, Calif.; Mrs. Hazel Hurtado, Laurel; three step-daughters: Mrs. Eva Alexander, Bogalusa, La.; Mrs. Audie Callahan, Covington, La.; Mrs. Lola Johnson, Mobile, Ala.; one son, Edward R. Aaron, Sandersville; one step-son, Cecil Ward of Hurley; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one brother, Willie Hudson of Picayune.

Pallbearers will be Preston Cooley, Ernest Fall, J. C. Hardage, A. Hardy, Cecil Hickson and Virgil Wheeler.
