COUNTY CAPITAL

After fighting for more than four long, weary years, a losing battle with the “great white plague” having been confined to her sleeping porch and bed for that period, Mrs. Ransome Munn, 43 years, succumbed last Wednesday morning to the ravages of that dread malady, leaving a devoted husband and four small children to struggle on deprived of the ministrations of a wife and mother. She was born and reared near Stringer, her maiden name, Miss Minnie McCarty, and united with the Baptist Church in her youth, living a devoted member of that church until her death. The funeral obsequies were conducted at her home by Rev. J. E. McCraw, assisted by Rev. A. J. Davis and Rev. Eubanks of the Methodist Church. Interment at Midway. Her sister, Mrs. Parker of Stringer attended the funeral.
