Ola Blackmon Dampier

Funeral services for Mrs. Ola Blackmon Dampier, 81, of Winnsboro, were held at 2 p.m., Dec. 16, in South Central Baptist Church with the Rev. Max Lee and the Rev. Don Blackmon officiating.

Interment was in South Central Cemetery under the direction of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home.

A native of Columbia, she was born Feb. 23, 1904. She was a retired housewife. She died on Dec. 15, 1985, following a lengthy illness.

Survivors include one son, J. W. ``Billy'' Dampier; daughter-in-law Marcee Lee Dampier, Wisner; one sister, Mrs. Gladys Brooks, Winnsboro, two grandsons, William Robert Dampier, Brandon, Miss. and Daniel Wayne Dampier, Shreveport; two great-grandsons; two nephews and three nieces.
