Mrs. Sanders

Last rites for Mrs. Mirty Sanders of Winnsboro were conducted Monday afternoon, with funeral services at the Shady Grove Baptist Church and interment in the church cemetery. The Rev. Lee Smith and the Rev. Mack Waller officiated.

Mrs. Sanders, 87, succumbed Monday in a hospital here. She is survived by two sons, Clarence and Nolan Sanders, Winnsboro; five daughters, Mrs. Maudie Mercer, Mrs. Emma Wood and Mrs. Lottie Wiggins of Winnsboro, Mrs. Edna Freeman, Ferriday, and Mrs. Clara Sowell, Crowville; three brothers, Ervin Taylor of Goodwill community in West Carroll Parish, Lee Taylor, Mound, and Napoleaon Taylor, Astoria, Ill.; 18 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
