Mrs. Roy Slocum

ST. LANDRY, La. -- Mrs. Roy Slocum, 74, of St. Landry died in Bunkie General Hospital at 7:30 p.m. Monday.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Slocum of St. Landry; one daughter, Mrs. Curry Cason Jr., of Leesville; five step-daughters, Mrs. Roy Cole and Mrs. Margaret Strange, both of Albany, Ore., Mrs. Johnny Ray Jr., of Cheneyville, Mrs. Patricia Solley of Bossier City, and Homer Manuel of Walnut Grove, Mo.; one brother, Marion Guillaumin of Port Arthur, Tex.; three sisters, Mrs. Edith Pond and Mrs. Pauline Broussard of Nederland, Tex., and Mrs. Florence Aucoin of St. Landry, and one grandchild.

The body will be in the Ardoin Funeral Home in Ville Platte after 4 p.m. today.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Addison Johnson cemetery at Turkey Creek.
