MRS. MITTIE RAY

The funeral service for Mrs. Mittie King Ray, 83, Pascagoula, formerly of Ellisville, will be held Friday from the chapel of Jones Funeral Home in Ellisville with the Rev. Robert L. Kates officiating. Burial will follow in Ellisville Cemetery.

Mrs. Ray, a native of Jones County, had lived in Pascagoula for the past five years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Pascagoula, and was preceded in death by her husband, William Dolphus Ray Sr.

Mrs. Ray is survived by one stepson, W. D. Ray Jr., Ellisville; one daughter, Mrs. Jerry (Martha Elizabeth) Martin, Pascagoula; five stepdaughters, Mrs. R. J. Williams, Ellisville, Mrs. Zelma West, Whistler, Ala., Mrs. Hilton Boykin, Waynesboro, Mrs. James White, DeKalb, and Mrs. Jack Williamson, Gulfport; one brother, John F. Simmons, Tyler, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Ellzey, Taylorsville, and Mrs. A. P. Simons, Ellisville, and two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Jones Funeral Home, Ellisville, is in charge of arrangements.
