Mrs. Molly Tarver

FERRIDAY (Special) -- Funeral services for Mrs. Molly Mae Tarver, 75, resident of Dunbarton, were held at 2 p.m. today in the Shady Acres Pentecost Church with the Rev. Johnny Carroll officiating. Burial was in Cypress Grove Cemetery under direction of Young's Funeral Home of Ferriday.

Mrs. Tarver died Saturday in Concordia Parish Hospital in Ferriday after a long illness.

She had been a resident of Dunbarton for 30 years. She was a native of Manifest and a member of the Shady Acres Pentecost Church in Ferriday.

Survivors include her husband, Randall B. Tarver of Dunbarton; two sons, Guy Tarver and Elvin B. Tarver of Ferriday; four daughters, Mrs. Ruby Bennett, Mrs. Bernice Halford and Mrs. Hazel Chandler, all of Ferriday and Mrs. Irene Bruit of Wildsville; two brothers, Butler Maples and Bullard Maples, both of Clayton; four sisters, Mrs. Nancy Files of Monroe, Mrs. Alice Drummer of Foules, Mrs. Sally Reeves of Bastrop and Mrs. Matilda McGaughey of Algleton [sic Angleton], Tex.; 22 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
