MONROE STEVE HARRELL

Monroe Steve Harrell of Eureka died suddenly at his home on Monday. He was born on March 6, 1923, in Mississippi and had resided in Eureka since 1947. He was employed as a sanderman at Roddiscraft, Inc., in Arcala. He was a veteran of World War II.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Alice Harrell of Eureka; his mother, Mrs. Hazel Harrell of Delhi, La., and other relatives in the South.

Funeral services will be held later this week in Delhi, La. Local arrangements are under the direction of Cooper Mortuary, Chapel of the Ferns.

MONROE STEVE HARRELL

DELHI (Special) -- Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. for Monroe Steve Harrell, 37, formerly of Delhi, who died Tuesday in Eureka, Calif.

Last rites will be from the Gay's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J. T. Copes officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Gay's in the Stevenson Cemetery.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Alice Harrell, Eureka, Calif.; his mother, Mrs. Hazel O'Dell Harrell, Delhi; two brothers, J. S. of Vidalia, and Archie Lee, U. S. Army, White Sands, N. M.; two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Johnson, Delhi; and Mrs. Hazel O'Dell Hodge, Mer Rouge, and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Lester, Henry, T. J., Curtis, Virdell, and A. D. Linkefelt.
