Morris “Mo” Aubrey Lynch

ARLINGTON -- Morris “Mo” Aubrey Lynch, 78, born June 5, 1925, in Olney, passed away Friday, Feb. 6, 2004, and was welcomed into heaven by God and all his friends who passed on.

Graveside service: 10 a.m. Friday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas.

Mo served in the U.S. Army from 1944 to his honorable discharge in 1946. He was badly injured in Brest, France, and received the Purple Heart and other citations. Mo worked for The Fair and World Service Parking Garage, where he touched many people's lives and hearts, from 1953 until his retirement in 1980. He was a loving and caring son, husband, father, grandfather and friend to all he knew. He will be forever missed.

Survivors: Brother, J.D. Lynch and wife, Flora Dean, of Longview; sister, Genevieve Hudson of Arlington; sons, Barton Lynch and wife, Jean, of Arlington and Alan Lynch and wife, Nancy, of Forest Hill; stepdaughter, Mrs. H.N. Hardy Jr. of Samson Park; nephew, Larry Lynch and wife, Sharon, of Brunswick, Ga.; niece, Lou Yorlano of Morristown, N.J.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four great-nieces and great-nephews; former wives and constant friends, Lou Dora Reed and Pansy Gates; close friends, Doug Smith, Francell Skidmore, Pichi Arrigunaga, James and Pat Williams, Danny and Sue Lape, Clyde Livesay and “Old Sally Cat.”
