MRS. M. W. SHOEMAKER
Mrs. Mossiel Williams Shoemaker, 83, Rt. 9, Laurel, died Friday in a Laurel hospital after an extended illness. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Edward Shoemaker, on January 4, 1971.
Services will be held from the chapel of Rayner Funeral Home, Sunday, 2 p.m., with the Revs. Bobby Thompson, Glenn Smith and Artis Brewer officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. I. V. (Portia) Sims of Mos; five sons, Curtis Shoemaker, Seminary; Hillman Shoemaker, Moss; Austin, Robert Earl and Dewitt Shoemaker, all of Laurel; one sister, Mrs. Jewel Goetz, Houston, Tex.; two brothers, Verbia Williams, Lake Arthur, La. and Henry Williams of Louin; 16 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
