LONA CLEO BOLIVAR

Lona Cleo Bolivar, 85, of Laurel, died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2005, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, with burial in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Laurel. The Revs. Steve Nixon and Ralph Graves will officiate.

She was a homemaker and a seamstress at Reliance Manufacturing. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for 42 years. She lived in the Pendorff community for 48 years. She was a member of the Ladies VFW Auxiliary. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, E.M. (Bob) Bolivar.

She is survived by her sons, Larry M. Bolivar of Soso, Charles E. Bolivar of Breaux Bridge, La. and Stanley R. Bolivar of the Rushton Community; her daughter, Joy Celynn Jordan of the Myrick community; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 5:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. today at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, which is in charge of arrangements.
