Funeral services for Muriel Guice Wells, 90 of Sicily Island, LA will be held at Pine Hill Baptist Church on Thursday, July 28, 2011 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Terry Ganey and Rev. Jesse L. Means Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at New Pine Hill Cemetery under the direction of Young's Community Memorial.

Muriel Wells was born on August 28, 1920 in Harrisonburg, LA and passed away Monday, July 25, 2011 at her residence in Sicily Island. She was a homemaker and devoted to her God, family, church, and community.

She was preceded in death by:
Parents-Fielding and Janie Guice
Husband of over 59 years-Johnnie Richard Wells
4 Brothers-Friley Guice, Herd Guice, Lester Guice, and Woody Guice
Sister-Elois Monroe
Son-in-Law-William D. Kirby.

The Honorary Pallbearers will be the Men of Pine Hill Baptist Church.
