MURPHY J. FOSTER

Murphy J. Foster, farmer of Calhoun, died on pneumonia Saturday afternoon at a local hospital. His death was the second in his family caused by pneumonia recently, his son, J. P. Foster, 15, having died of the malady 10 days ago.

Mr. Foster is survived by his widow, five children, his parents, and seven brothers and sisters. The children are Norman, Doris, Golda, Freddie and Billy Foster. The parents are Mr. and Mrs. M. S. Foster of Calhoun. The brothers and sisters are: Mrs. Clara McDaniel of Downsville; Alvin H. Foster and John F. Foster of Calhoun; Clyde C. Foster, of West Monroe; Miss Avie Foster, of Monroe; Ray Foster, Emmett Foster, of Hico.

The funeral will be held at the family residence at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon. Rev. W. O. Bryant, of Minden, assisted by Reverend Ross, of Monroe, will officiate. Interment will be made at the Forksville cemetery at Calhoun.

Mr. Foster was a member of the Calhoun Baptist church and was teacher of a Bible class.
