Myra Holstein
Myra Anne Holstein passed away Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011.
Myra was born Oct. 2, 1923, in Oakland, to John and Laura Knox. She attended Anna Heads High School, graduating in 1941. She then attended Mills College.
She married her husband, Jay Peter Holstein, on Sept. 13, 1947. Together, they had three children, Derek Knox Holstein of St. Helena, Janet Laura Holstein of Portland, and John Peter Holstein of Rennes, France.
She was predeceased by her parents, John and Laura Knox, and husband, Peter Holstein.
She is survived by her three children Derek, Janet and John, and six grandchildren, Mathias Holstein, Damien Holstein, Clare Holstein, Patrick Holstein, Laura Holstein-Roque and Samira Holstein-Roque.
A memorial will be held at Napa Valley Hospice and Adult Day Services at 5 p.m. on March 15.
