Myrdis Sikes

WINNFIELD -- Services for Myrdis Sikes will be at 1 p.m. today in the chapel of Southern with Dr. Calvin Phelps officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Mrs. Sikes, 87, of Winnfield died at 5 p.m. Tuesday in Humana Hospital, Winn Parish.

Survivors include one daughter, Maxine Scaccia of Metairie; two sons, Gary Sikes of Gonzales and J.E. Sikes of Overland Park, Kan.; one sister, Mrs. Roy Sanders of Readhimer; four brothers, Shelby Dark of Start, Woodrow Dark of Jonesboro, Ross Dark of Columbia and Lynwood Dark of Dodson; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
