WHITTINGTON, MYRTIS BEEDIE

Died Thursday, Oct. 17, 1985, at her residence in Liberty, Rt. 1, Miss. She was 69, and a native of Amite County, Miss. She was a retired nurse at East Louisiana State Hospital, Jackson.

Visiting at Brown Funeral Home, Liberty, Miss., 8 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. Saturday. Burial in Whittington Family Cemetery.

Survived by two daughters, Mrs. Luther Patricia Walters, Ethel, and Mrs. Julius Canetti O'Brien, Baton Rouge; a brother, Dudley Jones, Liberty, Miss.; three sisters, Mrs. Thelma Collier, McComb, Miss., Mrs. Barney Mae Jones, Liberty, Miss., and Mrs. Gillie Freeman, Baton Rouge; two grandsons; five granddaughters; and a great-granddaughter.

Preceded in death by husband, Andrew J. Whittington, and parents, John Paul Jones and Beulah Short Jones.
