Funeral services for Myrtle Crain Moody, 78, will be held Sunday, October 23, 2005, 2:00 PM, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel, West Monroe, with Rev. Lindle Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Calhoun, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
Mrs. Moody, a retired Ouachita Parish school bus driver, passed away October 20, 2005 after a lengthy illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy E. Moody and grandson, Daryl Ray Arnold.
Mrs. Moody is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jerill and Alvis Arnold of Monroe; her son and daughter-in-law, Merill and Alma Moody of Marion; a sister, Vorine Crain Hatten of Sikes; granddaughters, Cherie Arnold Counts, Lori Beatty and Donja Colvin; grandson: Ray Moody; great grandchildren: Mattie Counts, Lauren Beaudion, Matt Beaudoin, and Brittany Colvin; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are: Bill Ryan Gray, Newton Sanson, Mike Moore, Randy Wilbanks, Ed Takewell, and Chad Day.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency or the New Light Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 22, 2005 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.
